The modern wardrobe is a dream with built-in drawer/shelf units and plenty of hanging space. Due to the roof slope there is also loads of extra storage for luggage, skis and other large items to be hidden in here.
The second bedroom gets glorious morning sun and is big enough for a queen bed or has loads of room to be a child’s bedroom or office.
The family bathroom is modern with a full-size bath with an overhead shower and a toilet. There's plenty of storage and the layout is practical for family living.
Because of the local topography this property is very sheltered and seems to have its own microclimate. It's often calm at home while windy elsewhere. This makes for glorious outdoor living and the ornamental cherry tree provides some much needed shade when it gets too hot.
The garden is low maintenance – the retaining wall allows some herbs and veges to be grown easily and there’s plenty of scope higher up the slope if you run out of space, but mostly it takes care of itself.
And just down the road is a great new bakery, cafes, a chocolate shop and a great school. This is a very friendly street and we’re sad to leave it!
