We get a real buzz when a client's property sells - even more so when they send a photo of the conclusion (with us front and centre of course!). Here’s a couple from last week.
The common factor in these two success stories is that they had professional photos done - in both of these cases by our friends and partners at Open2View.
Now, at the risk of being a broken record, we restate our firm belief:
The best marketing investment you can make when selling your home, bar nothing, is professional photography.
It should be compulsory to be honest.
With these properties our job was straightforward. Our owners are happy, the buyers equally so. Working with beautifully advertised homes makes everything easier, quicker and more effective.
To illustrate the point (pun intended), and for a bit of fun, we gathered up the professional photos taken for some of our sold properties. Look what they made.... You too can add your property to our photo mosaic. It’s simple, straightforward, stress free. To get sold, get professional photos.

Totally agree with you - only other suggestion would be before the photos get a professional exterior make over - not just the building washed- but the fences, driveway, paths pergola's decks etc.... the value put back on the exterior is not only priceless but also portrays that the owners has cared for and protected the property, you can struggle to get people to go inside no matter how good the pics are unless you present right on the outside... please visit www.awlhousewash.co.nz and take a look at a property clean up video - awl are proud to like 200square and are devoted to getting sellers a better price and faster sale through serious exterior presenting.

Hi Liz
Thanks for taking the time to read and comment.
Having the property ready for the photos to be taken is absolutely important. Having your home "spotlight" ready inside and out is a prerequisite to great photos. There are several articles in our 'articles and tips' section of our website (that's where you are now!) that talk about it - from 'de-cluttering' to maximising street appeal.
Cleaning the outside of the home will enhance its appeal and add value (not sure its priceless value add, but certainly important). You are correct street appeal matters - we call it the "10 second beauty contest".
